ALC: Update In Progress

So, as you noticed, I haven't posted anything new to the site. I've been busy with things outside of CFIS Projects, so my free-time is limited. I'm still working on ALC, and Ryan's given me a good number of scripts I can use for the return. As of now, I'm aiming for an April return, with 4 issues posted in the first 2 weeks to make up for lost time. So until then, please deal with my lazyness and lack of comic-making.

In other news:

The Punisher: War Zone hit shelves today, and guess who picked himself up a copy? That's right, this guy!

I'm a fan of the Punisher in general, and I enjoyed the Punisher movie from a few years back. And when I read that Thomas Jane wouldn't be in the new Punisher movie, I was pissed. I thought he did a good job personally. But after seeing the first trailer, I was changing my mind. And when I saw more trailers and screens, I was rooting for new guy; Ray Stevenson. But I still was happy knowing the story had to be changed. I'm an idiot for thinking that originally...

You can catch my full review of War Zone in the near future on the CFIS Site.

I'd better get back to work on ALC, see you again soon!

ALC: Update 78

Two updates on time in a row?! Holy Shit! Wonder if I can keep that going...doubt it...

This ALC was colored with my new Prism Markers...and I love them...<3
I also intentionally colored this issue in an odd way, to kinda add to the detail of F.E.A.R's environment.

The idea for this one came from my first play-through of the F.E.A.R 2 demo...I died a lot...

I pre-ordered F.E.A.R 2: Project ORIGIN at my local Gamestop, and for doing so, I got an exclusive gift. I'll post it with the next ALC Update.

Ryan will be taking over as writer again this week, just depends on the day.

That's today's ALC Update

ALC Update 77

Holy shit, I actually updated on time! So I'm keeping up with my resolution to post a comic early/on time, and it's awesome. I didn't get lazy, I just decided to poke fun at myself. I never can get a comic posted on time, and when I do, it usually looks like shit...

But 2009 is the year AfterLife Comics improves on all it's faults...all...lot of them...damn it...

We also celebrate 2 years of ALC-an-ism today. I haven't finished the celebration picture yet, but I'll be posting it soon.

ALC 78 is schedueled to release next Sunday

...Ok, I lied...I couldn't get a comic done...but I have a good reason, I swear!

I've been trying to catch up on a lot of school work which has been making some weeknights and weekends a bit difficult. I've also been working on getting a job; which I now have. So, AfterLife Comics Issue 77 will be posted this weekend, along side ALConcept Art. Again, I apologize for more delays.

ALC Updatge 76.5

2 weeks without a comic? We're not delaying anything already, or on vacation at this point. But I've been busy with school and CFIS site repairs. There will be a new comic next Friday or Saturday, I promise. I'm also going through some old scripts Ryan sent me, and a couple are from at least a year and a half ago. They're still good, I just never got around to using them. Ryan's gonna be pissed...

See you next week

ALC Update: 76

...I'm not even gonna bother with something funny...Ryan didn't write me anything for this...

AfterLife Comics Chapter 2: Volume 1 is now available in the Archive!

Why suddenly change things up? Well, I've finally worked out a system. Now to bore you with the completly worthless to you details.
AfterLife Comics' new update system is being broken up into Chapters and Volumes. Our first 75 issues were to be broken up into volumes, and we just started Chapter 2: Volume 1: AfterLife 2.0: Now With More RAWR. I thought it'd be easier for myself to keep track of everything and also mark the change in AfterLife Comics. This time around, I'm gonna start working on a new comic early, and also print copies of scripts and also work with Ryan to improve from our first Chapter. I'm admitting right here, we sucked. So, we're changing things up, and we're doing more work to make AfterLife Comics better for you the readers!

The joke behind this comic is that I'm not funny...and Ryan is...

Well, scanner's working again, and the internet's running nicely, and it seems we're getting back to work. But it seems as though Photobucket isn't working as well as it usually does...odd... Looks like I'll be using the Photo App. on the sites to upload images, better get to re-loading them... In the mean time, I'll be running maintenence on the sites and getting back to work on everything in the meantime. Hopefully we'll be back in full rotation of the usual releases of the comics soon.

So, as of now, we're on a temporary vacation until everything's fixed. When it is, new issues will be posted and the number will have increased to 2 a week until I'm caught up with the delay. ALC Update 72

Fucking thunderstorms...

I should explian: We had a thunderstorm here on Wednesday through Thursday, and it didn't cause any problems. Until Thursday morning I woke up to no power. I figured it would be back within maybe 2 or 3 hours. But nope; it was off all day, literally, all day. And they didn't get it back on until Friday. Which wasn't to bad, but it knocked out my scanner; leaving me without the ability to upload the newest issue of AfterLife Comics. As of now, I'm trying to re-start it and get it working, and it's going well, I'll have more news when I get it.

ALC Update 69

At last! 74 and 75 are in the Archive. Because of my lateness again, I posted 2 comics, and there will be a third on Sunday. 74 was more for a quick laugh at the randomness for ALC, and it seems like something that'd happen. And 75, you know these people exist, the ones you're surprised to see in public, I haven't seen this yet, but I'm watching. And yeah, random filler for the elevator, thank you lazyness. And I'm actually glad how the coloring turned out in both issues, and how the Heartless pet was in both, bringing him back for fun. And he's not too well colored, but we'll just say he's shedding or something...or I got careless and forgot to color him all the way...You know, I really should update more often like this, it's kinda fun. But I'll give more news on ALC events soon.

ALC Update 68

73's in the Archive, and again...I'm late...well, you can blame CFIS' 5th Year Party for that, I was up all night on the 6th working on concept art and comics for every project, and I just managed to finish this one up last night, but fell asleep coloring the last panel. So yeah, excuses make everything fine. Anyway, god I love using that word it seems; CyberForce Inc Studios did turn 5 on Saturday, so I was working on everything I could, but only got 1 thing done, so maybe I'll get somethings done this week. But about this weeks comic, I think knowing the crew, we'd all be injured in someway, mostly everyone but me and the female characters, and knowing Campbell, well, there are the results...

Maybe next issue, we'll do a comic about what exactly happened! ...Or not, we'll just got back to Ryan's scripts, face it, he's funnier than me...

ALC Update 67

Our 72nd Issue is now in the Archive. And yep, he's back. Like I said last update, we're going back to older scripts, and this was originally planned to be after Campbell's attacked by the Puppet, but I never got around to working on it, mostly due to Ryan sending me a lot of scripts. But I found the page with this written on it, so I decided to have fun with it, and bring the Puppet back. He really is a major character, mostly for random-filler fun.

ALC Update 66

ALC 71's in the Archive, better late than never. Making up for the lack of ALC by making 2 this week. As I said, I've been going through things around here, still not ready to talk about it. Anyway, Ryan wrote this one way back, like mid-Chapter 2. It's good to go back to old scripts, like looking back at the beginning. Ryan sent me a few like this, but not as controversial and mildly-offensive...at least I think so...Anyway, kitchen's getting more detailed finally! I've been working on Concept Art for the scenary, and I'm loving how it's turning out. Expect more in the future.

ALC Update 64

Our 70th issue is in the Archive! Honestly, I'm surprised we made it to 70...damn...Anyway, I'm gonna be honest, I was ready on Thursday night with this one, but when I got home, the Internet decided to take a day off for me...of all the times...I was ready early for once, curse you internet! ...Enough rambling, I saw Iron Man the day after it came out...so...damn...awesome...not Punisher awesome, but close. After watching it, I wrote in my little script booklet I carry with me, yes, I'm weird for doing that, but aside from Stan Lee's best cameo yet, I couldn't really think of anything else, except the obvious jokes. But Iron Man's suit, damn that's awesome. And I shouldn't even be allowed near it, which from today's issue is the reason why. Go see Iron Man, I'm off to be Iron Man!

ALC Update 62

Well, it took a while to get back into the ALC Schedule, but 68's in the Archive. I'm not actually late this time, you'll notice the site now says Updated Weekly. This means we'll be updating Fridays or Saturdays from this point on. The reason is to avoid being late all together for me. And it's also to give me either more time to get the comic done, or work on a script. And yeah, I wrote this weeks issue, I do have scripts on hold, but I wanted to write it this week to show I'm back to work. And yeah, it's just random fun. I was just sitting around at my desk thinking of some random things, when I got the idea that Ria can kick my ass, and knock me out...it's true...and of course Campbell would have to make fun of it. Anyway, we're back, and Ryan's taking over again.

ALC Update 61

The newest issue, and final in the Loveless Arc is now available in the Archive. I was actually done on time! I deserve a vacation. In fact, I'm taking one, no comic next week. After doing 67 issues, an artist can get tired. So, in 2 weeks, ALC will return, and the art will have been re-worked, and scenery will be re-designed at last. That means I'm going to stop changing the ALC Apartment around so much. There's also new character designs in the work, I guess that means character sheets will be started for the Cast page...maybe... There was something else I wanted to talk about, but I can't seem to remember...guess it wasn't important. If I remember, I'll post it next update...why am I telling you this? I don't really know myself...

And when I got it done, it was Friday at 10:00 PM...so I had to delay. Then of all the times, the site went down for some reason, I had to reinstall my Internet, I didn't lose anything thankfully, and when I got it all fixed, it was today...so...yeah, I was late...but hey, the coloring and art's better. Even the lettering, Ryan got me to type the words this time, and I'll be doing it this way from now on. Ryan also wanted me to say it's Gay Pride Week...great timing for our Story Arc...speaking of which, only 1 more issue in the Arc, and 1 more until my vacation. That's right, taking a week off after the story arc. More on that next time.

Issue 64's in the Archive. I actually got done early, so I'm posting early. But it may just be this week, I'm taking a small vacation. So I got this week's issue started early. Anyway, Ryan wrote 4 more scripts for follow-ups to last weeks issue. I'm going to try to get 2 done next week, I'm off school, and 2 the following week. If not, well, 1 a week. Honestly, I didn't think Ryan would write me more scripts early, he's finally getting a hold of Co-Writer. Random Fun Facts: This is one of few ALCs that feature more than 1 character in a panel, and I'm still avoiding any character turning any other way than the ones shown. 63 is in the Archive. Ryan got me into Loveless, I'm going through episodes every so often...I'm still on Ep1...but I know enough, to be very disturbed...Soubi = Soubi often kisses and fondles Ritsuka, who is only 12 years old. It is difficult to explain the sexual connotations of their behavior without resorting to a shotacon-relationship. <Thank you Wikipedia...For disturbing me, and clearing a lot of things up...+watches Ryan cautiously+> There's something wrong with that one, I guess that's why I hired him...maybe I should start background checks or something. ALC Update 56

Our 62nd issue is now in the Archive. I relieze I'm late, but this weeks comic will explain it all. I honestly, just started getting lazy. I do occasionally make up excuses, like, internets down, and a bear at the comic. But this week, I started late, and decided to delay it, and tell you honestly, I got lazy. This weeks issue basically sums up what I do during the week before updates. There's also testing going on at my school, not a lie, which could cause another delay, but that's why I'm starting early now. And Ryan is taking over as writer as of today. I'm still going to write my own scripts occasionally, and of course turn them into new issues. But I'll also be taking scripts from the rest of the staff and using them in future issues. That means get to work guys...Now!

ALC Update 55

Our 61th issue is now in the Archive. Is that proper grammer? 61th? Fuck it, it is now. Anyway, Grifball is the official game of CyberForce Inc. Studios, our very own Ryan was in the original tournament, Team Kaboom. I don't remember how far they got, but hey, we love it either way. Basically, this sums up our love of Grifball and hate of math related things. I'm also happy to announce the first CFIS Promotion. Ryan, co-writer of ALC for a year and a half now, is now the primary writer of ALC, so he'll be taking over writing the majority of ALC from here on out. But that doesn't mean I won't write the occasional script and use it when I want to, but only when I need to use a key story moment. And the other staff members will still be sending me scripts. Now, ALC Staff, GET TO WORK!

ALC Update 54

Our 60th issue is now in the Archive, yay us for 60 issues!

Anyway, Ryan sent me a couple scripts, and this one caught my eye. Definetly different from any script any of the staff sent me. Well, I did say we're going to do more mature things with ALC, and I guess this counts. The first panel is the most adult in the entire issue, maybe the series so far. Anyway, Google Campbell's little Japanese Speak, Naka dashi kibou. And you'll know why it's mature. But, he sent me more scripts I'm still going over, so we'll see what happens this year. Ryan takes responsibilty for anything caused by his scripts from here on out.

I hate to say, it's a little true what's said in Panel 3...but that's why I have more people to write for me.

And look! No leaning panels! I'm getting better with this stuff!

About this weeks issue. ALC Update 52

Our 58th issue is now available in the Archive. I would like to say this, I was ready on time, but my internet connection was down for a day, which made me mad...and means we may change ALC release dates. Maybe back to Thursdays, or maybe Mondays. I'll let you know next Friday. Anyway, let's talk about today's comic. I hate little kid gamers to the highest extent, not all kid gamers, just those who think they're the greatest gamers ever...little bastards...I do wish to beat them with a controller...

Example:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=3qOqokbYp8Y
Bullshit...
It's kids like this that make me glad to be an older gamer, I know when I'm the best or not, and I'll admit right here, Halo 3, I'm all right I did beat L3GENDARY by myself though, Guitar Hero 3, I can do Medium and that's as high as I can go. Look, these kid gamers, aren't the best, we older gamers have been around longer and have played the originals, like Halo and Guitar Hero, even the original Call of Duty, so we win kid gamers who think they're better!

That's actually the deepest I went into an issue of ALCs little story leading up to the actual comic...

ALC Update 50

Happy Birthday to AfterLife Comics! That's right, today, January 19th, is our 1 year anniversary. First, let me thank the staff as always, Ryan for co-writing 60% of ALC, and yes bringing some of the favorites. Jeff, Chase, Daniel, Maria, and Dani, thanks for joining the staff and basically selling your souls to me. You're stuck with ALC forever guys~ And one last thanks, to the fans of ALC, that's right all +insert number here+ of you. Thanks for staying with us for a year, and I hope you stay for the years to come.

:::

I'm taking next week off of ALC to catch up on my art, and also work on finding a job. There's also school work to do, so, we'll update in 2 weeks.

:::

ALC 53 is basically randomness itself. Thought I should bring the puppet back for the hell of it, and our 1 year anniversary/birthday. I love the last panel though, what's not to love?

ALC 54 in itself, is just to say, hey it's been a year. Awesomerific! And the coloring is on purpose, because I wanted to make it seems like we've stayed like the old days, and also to show how we started.

ALC 55 + Portal = Fun for me. RIP Weighted Companion Cube...

ALC 56, if you were in anyway disturbed, Ryan takes full responsibility, and any legal issues...him...He wrote a follow up to this...and I'm probably going to regret doing it, but it's funny. So yeah....
:::::

:::

I plan to improve ALC's design and artwork this year, so please enjoy our changes.

:::

Possible site change? I'll let you know

:::::
Thanks for joining us in our first year, hope you stay! Please...make us feel special...

The last of the ALC Holiday Ark's is now available in the Archive. It took a bit longer than expected, but I got it up. So, we have 51 issues in 2007, I want to see if we can beat that by say, 20 more. We'll be working more this year, we're almost a year old, so it's time we acted more...something...meh...Anyway. You may notice the lineart is different, I recently got new art supplies and thought I'd try them out. Don't worry, ALC 53 will be better lining...and coloring...: On another note, I'm going to try to release 2 ALCs on Monday, with a 1 Year Anniversary Picture. The third part of the ALC Holiday special is now available in the Archive. Frank really loves reading the paper doesn't he? Anyway, Frank's basically the Shop Keeper of the ALC Series, I'm thinking of making him an extra character, for the ALC members to have someone to act as that one guy people remember for having a name that is used constantly for side characters, like Penny Arcade's Bob. Back to ALC, another issues of ALC will be released this Thursday, and possibly another on Friday. Either way, the final ALC Holiday Special will be on Christmas Day. The ALC Store is still in development, running final designs with the staff, then I'll start making them.

ALC Update 44

The second part of the ALC Holiday Special is now available in the archive. I want to make it clear, yes, I'm getting serious with ALC, many web-comics have serious moments, that will affect the upcoming stories. But those plans will be shown in upcoming chapters. The grand finale of the ALC Holiday special will be Christmas Eve, and I still plan on updating Fridays and Random days for extra issues for the Holiday Special. And the ALC Store will be open soon, just running through shirt designs with some of the other staff members.

ALC Update 43

And so it begins, the first AfterLife Comics Holiday special. Part 1 is now available in the Archive. Now, I wanted to do something special for our first year and first Holiday special, so I'll be updating twice a week, always on Friday, and the a random day of the week before that, or 2 on Friday. It's something different for me and ALC, so I hope you enjoy it, and next ALC comes this Friday.

ALC Update 42

Issue 45 is now posted in the Archive.I didn't really plan a follow up to 44's box joke, but Ryan seems to find ideas at good points. And yes, I wrote individual messages on the newspaper, it's just something fun, got tired of plane scribble news. And I actually like the first panel, could be a shirt design or something... Anyway, I never got around to getting at Thanksgiving Day picture posted, well that's because I didn't really have an idea for one. However, to make up for the lack of the Turkey Day picture, I plan an extra issue of ALC this Wednesday. I also have an idea for the upcoming Holiday Season, and even a small story arc just for the occasion.

ALC Update 40

43 is now available in the Archive. I've been behind a bit, I'm working on trying to get 2 issues this week if possible to make up for it. Anyway, Ryan was talking to me about Colbert for President and just said we should get on someone's case for not supporting Colbert, and then have it end with him saying, "I'm even wearing the official Colbert thong!" Yeah, he's weird, but he keeps the comic going, and I laughed my ass off reading it. So enjoy ALC43~

Issue 42 is now available in the Archive. And yes, I want Colbert to become our President. I mean, he's Steven Colbert, and his Terror List is very accurate, those Bears are out to get us...And he loves Doritos, you can't go wrong with that. Anyway, I actually am in the process of making a Colber For President sign. In other ALC News, new wallpapers will be available soon, and Con updates. Until next update~

And that's what we did...it was that or he would come back through a Portal, <3 the flash version gotta play the real deal. Anyway, I'll post a Halloween pic on Wednesday for you all. In other news, AfterLife Comics may be getting a booth at Otakon 2008 in Baltimore, Maryland. More news on that next update. And we're back to updating on Fridays again.

ALC 40 is now available. Yes, I've been behind lately, but that hasn't stopped me from working on ALC. Issue 41 will be coming out this Friday due to 40's late release. I've been working on character designs and the ALC Household design, so I'll be messing with a few things for a bit. Anyway, Ryan wrote this when Izzy joined a while back. Yeah, I'm late again. I've been busy lately, but I still find time to work on ALC. Well, I've made up my mind, we'll be updating Sundays now. Anyway, the little arcs over, and we're heading back to the normal, well random ALCs again. Hope you enjoyed the little arc, it was something different, and well, it's something I wanted to use before I couldn't find a place for it. I personally like this one because we have Ryan getting hit in the head with a soda can. I find it funny, so yeah...

Shut up, I know it's Sunday... My internet was down, then the site had a few bugs, so it took a bit longer. Anyway, the second to last little story arc in the ALC series is now available in the Archive. Before you say anything, no I'm not smoking, it's a coffee straw, those things are fun to naw at...and no, I don't drink coffee, it's like poison for me...Anyway, I'm thinking of updating on Sundays now, but I'll decide on Friday. And Halo 3 is the greatest fucking game out there, I finally beat it. I'll review it on my RvB Page later this week.

ALC Update 33

Well, it's here. The half-way mark for the small Arc in the ALC series. Now, I planned this at the very beginning of ALC, but never found time to use it, so I randomly placed it in Chapter 3. And yes, it was the week of Halo 3, I'm working on a Halo 3 Special issue now, with the last 2 issues in the Arc. And yes, it will also mark our 10 month of ALC. ~^w^~ ...Anyway, we'll be working on scripts in the mean time, till next time~

ALC Update 32

The second installment of the 5 part arc is now available. And I'm going to be honest, it was rushed due to dead lines and errors. I worked all week writing and sketching it, and every early idea came out good, until a stray pen-mark or marker error fscked it up. Clearly, I need some new supplies. I do plan on working earlier on the remaining arc, and of course the series, so don't worry. Also, I do plan on re-vamping character designs. I apologize for the low-quality of 36.

ALC Update 31

Well, the first of a 5 part ALC Arc just started. I wrote all 6 of the stories at the very start of ALC. I didn't expect so many people to join ALC as characters, so it changed the little story arc. I plan on releasing 2 a week if possible, then return to the original 1 a week. Also, the arc is just to go into character detail, background information, and a bit of something else... And the Campbell mobile was just a filler idea...

ALC Update 30

Issue 34 is now available in the ALC Archive. Now, you'll notice 3 things with the new issue. Chase is the featured character this time, I put more detail into the background because I'm trying new things and still working them out, and a Grunt is there. Why a Grunt? Well, they're better than any other Covanant, and easy to draw... Also, we've changed release dates for new issues. Well, I'm back in school, and I need time to do school things, and I've been working, not an official job, just mowing lawns. Back to ALC, I'm still working things out in the series, like coloring details, and backgrounds, so expect some changes and errors along the way. I'm one of those web-comics that just does it with errors, to show I make mistakes. Anyway, enjoy the new issue.

ALC Update 29

Well, Issue 33's up. I spent the week writing the scipt, but couldn't think of the panel-art, thankfully Ryan came up with an idea, and I had panel-art ready for once. You'll notice, Ryan's hair is grey, well that's becuase I was trying to keep the eyes visible, with the expressions, and keep the hair colored...It kinda sucked...I'll fix it for next time...Also, newest staff member is introduced, Izzy, based off Brit, Dani's friend. It's good to get new members, we started with just 4 and now we have 8. It's good to have a growing number of characters. One more thing, this was rushed, due to the last day to update, so it was a bit rushed. I still like how it turned out a little. I'll fix the errors next time~

ALC Update 28

ALC Issue 32 is now available in the Archive, and a new wallpaper is available in the Bonus Gallery. Yep, the puppet's back for another chapter. We couldn't really leave out a our mascot, yes, he's AfterLife Comics mascot. Every web-comic has that character that everyone knows, and we have the puppet. I had other ideas, but I couldn't really get them to work with some of the other staff members, *cough* Ryan *cough*. Anyway, as I've said earlier, the clothing is more detailed, along with other things. But, let's talk about the wallpaper. Ryan came up with this one. He does by a lot of anime from what he's told me. I personally like this one, mostly because it shows after 7 months, we can still get ideas. Well, Fred Gallagher of Megatokyo has been doing this stuff for years, so I think we're doing all right compared to him...Meh...

What'd I tell you? I told you we'd be back. We're back with Chapter 3: Child's Play, ALC Issue 31. You need to know just few things here. One, we're going into more detail with clothing, characters, and the apartment. Two, Dani is Danielle, and we'll be calling Tenko, Maria, due to the confusion it gives me when writing a new issue becuase I forgot who was who for a while. Three, you need to remember the early ALC, where Danielle and Ryan are talking about Naked DDR, and how he had chains on his pants, so yeah... Also, the first ALC Shirt design is underway, it should be ready by the time of the release of ALC Wallpaper 5.

ALC Update 26

Chapter 2 has now come to an end. Why so soon? Well, a 24 issue run seemed like a good time to end. Chapter 3 will last longer, much longer becuase I've been writing the 3rd chapter since Issue 1, and well, it's time to use what I wrote. I'm keeping it secret to everyone until the time is right. Let me just say this about the last panel, not my hat, which yes, I plan on making. And yes that is Live-Life Chapters on the TV, for secret reasons for now... And why is Ria leaning on the wall behind the TV, that's for another day... But now's the time to rant:

Special thanks to freewebs.com for hosting the series, we'll be here a while~
Thanks to the CFIS Staff of ALC, Maria, Danielle, Jeff, Chase, Daniel, and Ryan. You guys kept me going, even when I didn't want to, but you helped me write some of the better ALC Issues, stick around, we're going far with ALC.

Luke McKay and Griffon Ramsey, of Rooster Teeth comics. Why am I thanking you? Well, you guys write/draw one of my Top 5 web-comics, and inspire me to keep going. Megatokyo's Fred Gallagher, for showing that web-comics aren't always funny, they can be serious. And most of all, everyone who's supported the ALC Series, we plan to make it to the top, or at least somewhere higher...thanks~

My family and friends of course, they support my art, and what I do, love you guys~

With much thanks, and love-

This week, we added the Conventions Page, I attended Otakon 2007, Day 1. I met up with Gus, Jason, and Gavino of RoosterTeeth productions, first to meet them and buy stuff ^.^ I waited in line 30 minutes to meet Fred of Megatokyo, worth the wait. Met with Hawk of Applegeeks, and also lost the ability to walk. My first con was a blast, I just wish I met Ryan in-person, he was nowhere to be found, or he was in the large group of Hentai Viewers. Really, there was a large group of people just standing around the hentai booth...lots...anyway, I'm pulling ALC 28 due to inaccuracy and lack of need for it, I will post 2 issues next week, both accurate, until Thursday~

Chase told me when he gets the Halo 3 helmet, he would try to wear it...so I figured, why not us it? And the reason I'm in DMC clothing, is because I'm really addicted to DMC3 right now. All webcomics have one, so that's ours. I want to say this, the puppet is a result of boredom...and I take full responsability at this geniusness. Anyway...this ends the ALC Puppet Trilogy, yeah we made it a small storyline of ALC while I work some company related things out. We'll be returning to the normally scheduled ALC, Ryan, Jeff, and Chase will have their written comics drawn for ALC.

OTAK07

Myself and Ryan will be at Otakon 2007 in Baltimore, MD. I'll be staying one day, July 20, and Ryan will be there the rest of the event, pitch some ideas to him, maybe I'll care enough to use them. We don't know if Daniel will be coming, but at least 2 ALC Members will be there...And one of my dreams will come true, I'll be meeting LukeMcKay of RoosterTeeth Productions. Oh, and Gus and Jason will be there...so yeah...Seriously, I can't wait to meet them, my first con, and I meet 3 people I always wanted to meet. AfterLife Comics Issue 23 is now available in the Archive. I want to say a few things:
The puppet was my idea. I shouldn't be allowed to get bored...But I was just really bored and I was watching Love Hina with Mo'e, it just got me thinking of a killer doll/puppet. You need to watch the show to know. And the reason Campbell is the target, well I just wanted to do something completely random, and he's the perfect cast member. And also, that's Outlaw Star on the TV, I got the Complete Series a while ago, it's a classic. Also, new ALC wallpaper available in the Downloads Section.

ALC Update 17

Can you believe this~? 6 Months into ALC, and we have 22 issues, and a decent fan-service. Well, this wraps up the 4 part Mini-Venture co-written by Jeff, he did a good job at writing, and I finished up with the 4th and final part, which has the most color in the entire series so far. Well, this is actually one of my personal favorites, it shows there is a world outside the gangs houses. And we'll continue with the proof of the outside world much more in the series' run. Anyway, we have a new staff member joining the ALC Family, DMetal, aka Daniel. ALC Update 4

Well, ALC Issue 9 is now up. It's a day late though, the site went down for some reason, but anyway, it's up. This is based off a conversation me and fellow staff member/co-writter, Ryan;
First off let's talk about Fable 2. In this game they have a new "love" system. Which means you're dude can be slapped with a paternity suite if he forgets his sheep skin when he's visiting the local brothel. It also means that if you're playing a chick you can get knocked up. Which is fucking brilliant.
-Lanturn

Then after my comment, he responded with this:
haha, there'd be a funny filler comic. "Hey look I knocked up a chick" "cool" "awesome it's a boy, hehe" "holy shit did you just kill your own kid?!" "There can be only one!"
See why i made him the co-writter for ALC? Anyway, we're still in the Top 100 Contest, please be generous and donate time to use, and vote~!

Lanturn: well... I like to chew on things... especialy plastic. I really go to town on the caps of bottles of water. Any who, I had the wheel of a pine wood derby car between my teeth cand was kind just rollin it around and gnawin on the sides. I had just taken the wheel off the car, and as such I left the nail in it. Well, at one point I had my lips completely around the wheel. I went to breathe, and instead of going through my nose as intended, the nail was sucked to the back of my mouth and shot down my gullet. It took me a minute to comprehend what happend. I mean, I had just swallowed a nail, I felt it go down my throat. I preceaded to get out of my chair, walked over at my mom and said very frankly "Mom I just swallowed a nail." I have never seen such a blank stare on my mom's face before. After she comprehended what I just said I was rushed to the doctors. Several x-rays later, and a week in which I was terrified of magnets (that isn't a joke I was seriously scared to death of magnets), I shit the fucker out. The end.

Sadly, this is what he actually told me...

AfterLife Comics: Story and Art by: James Merritt Copyright CyberForce Inc. Studios 2003-2007

This was actually created as a web comic of what happened after you turn off video games...but it didnt work because I decided to change the story but I kept the name for the hell of it. Also, Jin basically finds his life is over when he finds out he's married. Although that was a spoiler, I kinda told everyone before the comic even started so, meh. To sum everything up, its a webcomic that started as something else.
